First thing you are needing to know, the date: October 13, 2012

Download the Ride maps.
The Bike Out Hunger – Tyler ride is set for October 13 and will be held in memory of Joe Cunningham, member of Green Acres Baptist Church and active member of the Tyler Bicycle Club.
Bike Out Hunger – Tyler will start and end at Whitehouse Baptist Church and we will have several different route distances, including a kid’s 1-mile ride on a closed and blocked road. During the ride, there will also be a children’s play area with bounce houses and fun activities to keep your children entertained and safe while you ride. The play area will stay open a little after the ride to allow time for all to enjoy…but I do suggest waiting until food settles to join the fun…
Right now, we have a 6-mile, 12-mile, 22-mile and 40-mile routes planned. Download the ride maps here. There will also be an option to take the 40-mile route a little longer and make a good 60. But please note, the 40-mile and the 60-mile routes will not have the typical stretch point and sweep/SAG pickup past the 30-mile point which is shared with the 22, 40 and 60-mile routes.
All routes are the typical East Texas riding with rolling hills and a couple of “a wee bit steeper” climbs.
And as always, all rider types and skill levels are welcome.
