It is with great disappointment that we are having to postpone this event due to the freezing temperature and wet/slick roads. I appreciate your efforts to attend and dedication to ending the cycle of hunger.
We are working on an alternate date. For those of you able to make the new date, fantastic, for those who may not be able to, we can offer a refund for the entry fee.
I will miss riding with you, meeting you and helping feed children through the backpack feeding program. But rest assured, we’ll get a new date set up soon.
Ride well. Do good.
Bike Out Hunger is returning to Tyler and continuing to honor Joe Cunningham’s legacy.
You love riding. You love helping people. Do both well by riding in Bike Out Hunger – Tyler and work toward ending the cycle of hunger in the Tyler area.
The various route distances (6-mile, 12-mile, 22-mile, 40-mile and 60-mile) accommodate riders of any ability. By registering, you get a personal page that will track any and all online donations on your behalf and it makes it easy to ask people to support your effort.
The money raised goes to supply hungry children with food backpacks so they can have something to eat between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast at school. Yes, many of our neighbors don’t have food at home over the weekend. Information on this program can be found here.
Riders will receive a dri-fit Bike Out Hunger t-shirt, some goodies from our sponsors and post-ride food and drink.
Start and end point is 801 E Main St, Whitehouse TX 75791
The ride will start at 8:00 am.
The registration fee is $35.00
