Several of us often think of nutrition while we are training for events, but among those who don’t have enough to eat, proper nutrition is still a priority. There is actually something called the obese hungry. Here’s how that works. A family of four can eat a lot cheaper at McDonald’s and get high-calorie, high-fat, low-nutrient food but can’t afford fresh fruits, vegetables or much less a nice restaurant that serves these foods.

The San Antonio Foodbank reminds us of some of these aspects.  http://safoodbank.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/making-nutrition-a-priority/
