As a driven person, cyclist, runner, swimmer or triathlete, you may find it hard to rest. I’ll admit, I’m not very good at resting. Up early, work hard, up late and some things still go unfinished for the day…so where can I fit in rest and why?
I’ve been told that during rest is when we actually get stronger as athletes. This also helped me draw a distinction between sleep and rest and when and how often I should be resting.
